中德科学技术哲学论坛的举办，旨在推动中国与德国、乃至欧洲的科学技术哲学界之间的学术交流和对话；以此为契机，寻求进一步开展更深入的合作研究之可能。第一届论坛于2011年12月在德国汉诺威大学召开，第二届论坛将于2012年10月9至12日在上海举行，届时将有近十位外方专家参会，主办方为上海社会科学院哲学研究所和上海大学社会科学学院。
此次论坛设立的议题如下：
1， 科学哲学前沿问题
2， 技术哲学前沿问题
3， 科学、技术与行动
4， 科学、技术与认知
5， 科学、技术与文化

2nd Sino-German Symposium on Philosophy
of Sciences and Philosophy of Technologies
For the enhancement of the relationship and the dialog between scholars from China and German and the further possible cooperation between both sides, the Symposium on Philosophy of Sciences and Philosophy of Technologies gave its first conference at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover in Dec. 2011. The 2nd symposium, staged on Oct. 9-12th, will be hosted by the Philosophy Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Social Sciences of Shanghai University.
The symposium seeks to address the following topics:

---- Frontier issues in Philosophy of Technologies
----Science, Technology and Action
---- Science, Technology and Cognition
---- Science, Technology and Culture
